This book took hold of my heart and squeezed. I’ve recently suffered deaths in the family, so I could relate to Kevin’s extreme pain and confusion. However, how would you feel if you learned that the women you loved, your wife of many years, was not who you thought she was? She did not think and feel the way you thought she did. Kevin accidently discovers her journal and realizes his family and his marriage were not what they seemed. As he comes to accept the truth, he heals and learns that people are more important than money. There are some interesting twists and turns as well. I highly recommend this novel. I read it in one sitting, and it hasn’t really left my mind in the two weeks since.
